We're heading up this weekend, and are hoping to bring a Prowler 4x4 to move around on the pond a bit and hopefully avoid some crowds. With the warm spell, anybody know if it's safe for a vehicle like that North of Holmes Crossing? We are hoping to cross to the east side straight out from Buckboard, but don't know if the pressure ridges extend that far north.

Thanks in advance for the help!

We were at Anvil last weekend and had no problem, it is colder up there, so you should be ok. Maybe one of the other guys can give you some info about Holmes Crossing but the ice at Anvil was 7". Pressure ridges are all over the lake, so be very careful, no matter where you find them. Good luck and let us know how you do.
