I know I have seen some recommendations on where to go for good auger blade sharpening in Davis County. If anyone still has that contact information, I would really appreciate it if you would pass it on again. I want to give the sharpening a try before I go purchase new blades again. I have a trip planned with a few friends next week so if the sharpening doesn't work I can use their augers. Seems like a good time to try it out.
Thanks for the help.

I purchased a hand sharpener from Sportsman's Warehouse.
The sharpener follows the angle of the blade and does a good job of touching up dull blades.
For less than $10.00, I thought it was worth a try.
I'm happy with my results.

+1 to what DKS said. I have the same sharpener and it is great.

Did Ira tell you that after he took his blades to the guy you have listed that his blades came back in worse condition? I'm assuming the bades he sharpened for you work fine?

No he didn't. Ira should have taken them back to him. I have had him sharpen my blades twice and they have worked fine both times.

Yea, I told him the same thing, it is hard for a business to stay open, if they don't stand behind what they do. I'm sure they would sharpen them again for free but he said something about buying new blades.
