Slow day as far as numbers. Ran to Soddy creek to find the yellow "Outdoor Channel" boat filming right on the spot I had in mind. Ran back to the bridge and caught two chuncky spots off the rocks on the rig. Water clearing well in that creek. Ran back down lake to another major creek and caught the one in the photo. Didn't have scales so I put her in the well and went hunting someone who did. Found a couple of gents in a Stratos that did and she weighed 9.12 lbs. Let her go. She hit a small CB very hard and pulled like a drum. Never jumped. Took my time with the 10 lb floro on the CB rod. Fun stuff. Got two more about 2.5 lbs apiece but that was it. Nice day to be outdoors! Water temps between 46 and as high as 52 at the end of the day.
