Mine goes something like this: While frantically jumping up and down and pointing at my fishing partners rods I yell, "Dude, Dude! You're not getting one!" Until they have been completely burned at least a couple of times, they'll fall for it.

I've only been beat up for this a couple times........[frown][:p]

The one I always seem to say is "well that's fishing..."

Unfortunately not original to me but:

Fishing is a line with a jerk at one end waiting for one on the other.

"I didn't see it before it broke the line (aka bad knot) but it was at least fill in the blank inches."

"Stop kicking me, I'm sorry, I won't do it again..seriously, please stop."

This was said by hooknhunter shortly after the third time he told me I wasn't getting one.

I fell for hooknhunter's "DUDE, DUDE!! YOUR NOT GETTING ONE! numerous times in the same weekend my first and only time ice fishing... I felt pretty dumb but it was hilarious when others fell for it

When my 4 year old daughter and I are out and we are catching small ones right before they get tossed back in she says "grow bigger fishy!" Abby
