I would like to take a first time ice fisher out and was wondering how pineview ice conditions recently are? Slush? Wet edges? Thanks for the help!

I know 4-5 days ago it was good but the last 2 days have been pretty warm at work and I wondered if it made any changes?

Went to the view today, got on ice at port ramp. Edges were good, no slush. Over a foot of ice. Sleds and bikes going all over the lake. Still lots of perch on the bottom. Light bite, caught fish on all standard fair. Crappies were all very small.

Also hit PV today south of cemetary point. Perchin was pretty steady. Edges were froze and 16" of ice. Were mostly hittin jigs tipped with wax worms. Have fun.
