Just wondering what you guys are all using for perch fishing? A lot of our customers are commenting that they are using our shad darts and 1.5"-2" grubs for perching. Since I don't fish for perch, just wondering if they are the go to baits, or what do others use?

my lure of choice this year has been a small perch colored horizontal jig im interested also to see what others been using

Most of the folks I fish with at Starvation have been using very small jigs suspended about 8 to 12 inches below an attractor like a Kastmaster or other silver or gold jigging spoon. Last week we found our best success with small green and black jigs tipped with a perch eye or a small piece of perch meat. The smaller jigs seemed to make a big difference in how many fish we caught.
We have been fishing in 60 feet of water so you need some type of attractor with enough weight to get back down quickly when the perch have their feedbags on. Good luck.
