Had a day off last Saturday so I ( as well as the rest of the state) decide to hit the river. Went up to the middle Provo just below the jordanelle dam to a couple of my favorite spots. After a few hours of combat fishing and no willing takers I decided to head over to one of my honey holes. Went with a rainbow sow bug and prince nymph and starting snagging them right off the bat! After quite a few dinkers I decided to throw on a small leech pattern to see if I could entice some of the bigger browns to come out. Luckily one was willing to take the "bait" Caught this one right away and what a blast it was! I apologize if the video is a little shaky, I rigged up a mount on my hat brim using an extra sticky mount and a ton of hot glue, its ugly but it held like a champ! So enjoy and don't judge to harshly[Wink]

Nice job, I really need to get some editing software.

Well done. I saw you wet your hand before handling the fish so props for that too. Tell us more about this leech pattern and the amazing fellow that must have showed it to you.
Nice job, I really need to get some editing software.
I actually just used windows movie maker on my pc... The easiest one so far. I tried iMovie on the Mac and even downloaded the gopro software but it was all more complicated than it needed to be.

I have the head mount but rarely use it. Every time you move your head the camera moves. Even when you don't realize you are doing it.
I have the WIFI for my H2, and a very nice feature. I also have the flat lens that comes stock on the H3, so just realize, you can buy the add ons for that H2 camera.
I also have the handlebar, helmet, chest mount (the chest mount is what turned me off on Rex Nights chest mount reel. It really is in the way)

I bought the H2 just before the H3 came out, so good to know it can update the H2. The WIFI is a great idea to capture fishing videos when both hands are busy.

So what mounting system do you recommend when when in your 'toon or wading?

I prefer mounting to a pole or tripod...hey, its wireless[Wink] Plus that way you get the whole picture. YOU landing the fish and easy to turn around and pose quick then release.
Just my choice. The chest mount cost pretty close tot the same as the WiFi, so if I had it to do all over, I wouldn't have bought thee chest mount.
With the head mount, as I mentioned, every time, you turn your head the camera turns. It gets a bit heavy after awhile and it is impossible to see the settings without taking it off your head. The Wireless does help, but the first two are still an issue.
I have videos from all three.
