Thanks,

Justin

Bummer, I know the feeling. Last July I lost mine. I was in the same industry for about 45 years and now can't find a job. I guess I'm to old and nobody wants an old fart and they don't want to pay experience. Not sure I want to go back to work!!
Good luck.

Why do you think you have lost your job?

I was involved in a shooting that I feel was justified. The county is ruling it unjustified, but they are not willing to pursue any criminal charges against me. (Justified) I can't tell all details on here. I'm just really hurt right nowSad I've worked so hard to make my community safe and out so many dirt bags in jail. This is so disheartening. I've pretty much been involved with retail commissioned sales and been a cop 10 years. Is welding hard to learn? I'm also what I consider a semi-pro fisherman.

Any mechanical skills?

I would say I'm fairly mechanical, but don't really have training in anything.

if your willing to relocate ICE is ALWAYS looking for border patrol agents and the pay is decent, reason i bring that up i got yet another email from them today about IT jobs

Don't really wanna do ICE, but thanks. Hey is there anyone out there that might want to invest in a fishing invention?

Only if it is a reel I can attach to my chest. [Wink]

I know the feeling. I lost my job several years ago, but that's when I decided to pursue my dream of owning a fishing tackle business, and I am doing pretty good now. We offer dealer start up packages for $1,200. We build you a website, put $1000 of products in your hand, and send you on your way with the opportunity to turn it into something golden.

I would imagine if you put a little effort into finding a job you will find one. Fishing inventions and being a Semi-Pro fisher person. Are kind of a hard way to start. If you do not have any backing or funds.

You and only you know what you are good at or interested in. Go back to school. We are all Semi-Pro fisherman and women. I support the products that catch fish. The products and knowledge reward me with fish.

Good luck.

I don't really have mechanical skills. Obviously, I have skills in security and investigations, and I've also worked sales in the past. I do have a bachelors degree if that helps. I would love to get into the fishing/fly fishing industry if there are any opportunities.

Are you willing to travel out of the state? I know tmas went up to Alaska and guided for one summer. You could contact him and see how he got the job. or you could try to get on one of those crabbing ships, not sure how to go about apply for one of those jobs[:/].

Two words, crab boat.

That sucks. I feel you aren't going to be alone in looking for a job this summer. Would you be able to get another job in Law enforcement? And I hope this isn't the incident I am thinking of that was semi recently. If it is I feel it was just. With 10 years experience I would think you would be able to find something. But I guess it all depends on what they put in your record.

Maybe Check usajobs.gov here is a search for law enforcement in the 84404 area.

Good Luck I hope you find something soon.
