I'm looking to hunt deer in either Wyoming and/or Colorado this year as I have heard it is a whole 'nother world compared to Utah. Not looking for any honey holes, but would like some input from people who have hunted these states. I would be looking for something I would have at least an "ok" chance of drawing with no points, and see a decent number of animals. A big buck would be great, but would settle for a decent one and a fun hunt (wouldn't mind shooting a white tail either since I have yet to do that). Archery or rifle is fine.
Any and all input is much appreciated.

If you are willing to do some homework. You will see huge potential in CO. Start looking into different units in the Craig area as well as grand junction.

Thank you for some input.

If you are an archery hunter, Arizona used to sale over the counter tags for the kiabab on the north rim of the grand canyon area. It takes a bit of work to get to know the area and how to hunt it. But there are some nice bucks there.
