Ugh I am ready for spring..... Not that I hate snow or anything I am just ready for softer water to go fishing on. I have had a really busy and stressful 2 years and hadly fished at all. I wasn't even able to get my boat out to Willard to make my park pass worth it. And I live 5 mins from the South Marina. But this year I got moved to a pretty easy going job to finish out my AF career. So I'm planning on lots of time for fishing this year. No more weekend duty or twelve hour shifts for this guy. Who else is dreaming of that early moring fog on the lake? When its cool you have to wear a jacket or sweatshirt in the morning but it warms up a few hours later.

Who else is dreaming of warmer temps and time on the lake?

I'm with you but for me I love the snow to snowboard but for lakes just want all the ice gone now. Would like to be in my float tube and catch some nice fish on my fly rod.

I was on good solid ice yesterday, though the day before - I hit multiple river fronts, and then ice - so it's all out there!

I have heard the rivers are opening up, so flow is in your favor! Guess we'll see how quick the edges go, but I'm not hanging up the auger and the short poles just yet.
