Put in at Sullivan&#39;s and decided to give the Bass a try and let the crappie rest.<br />I fished a stretch no more than 100 yds long that had about 6 Herons on it and a flick from baitfish about every 5 seconds in about a foot of water.<br /> About 50 feet of that stretch was the sweet spot! As a matter of fact it was the same area Fishin&#39; Junkie got his 6 plus in the Shellmound CFF last year.<br /> After about 4 solid keepers I loaded up on what weighed (on Sullivan&#39;s scales) at 6.86. Had a 4.28 and the rest were just good solid keepers. Not one short fish.<br /> All were in 2 to 5 ft of water and only caught on a Red Eye and a chartruese grub on a lead head. I threw a blade, chatter, T-rig and a jig with no luck!<br /> I&#39;m hoping Danny can bail my sorry-no pic posting butt out again with the pic that Sullivan shot. If he does, keep in mind-I&#39;m 6&#39;4&quot; 265 lbs and heavily clothed, so it looks like a 4 lbr!<br /> So-I came home all fired up and tournament ready and realized the cutt-off time was last night, not tonight! My bad!!
