started a little before 9:00 and put in a full day. the wind dictated where and what we fished, but we lucked out and had a pretty good day with the usual riverpark mix of cats and drum and a pair of four pound smallmouth, a 3 1/2, and a four pound largemouth. got into a couple of keeper spots down river and, of course, we both lost a few sight unseen; some felt like drum, while others felt like trophy bass. we caught fish on mini beavers, jigs, and jerkbaits. the water temp was 48 degrees, and the wind was brutal at times.
