Fishing Forum

Candi and I got out this afternoon for a little scouting and a little fishing. The fishing was little and the scouting was informative. Candi's first cast, she reeled in one of my pets and had a blast doing this on 4 lb test line. I didn't know who had who for a while. But she handled the rod/reel like a pro and pretty soon the fish came to net.<br /><br />Then we fished for crappie for a little bit. On the first spot, I landed 9 and the drum pro stuck out. Then at the 3rd or 4th stop, she landed a couple and I landed one before we decided that this was enough for one afternoon. Not a great day by any stretch of imagination, but fun to be out on such a beautiful day. We found spots for our crappie hotels and that was the main reason for going out today.
