I saw almost nothing Early Saturday. Saratoga, Lincoln and AmFo all looked clear. TD says Lindon is fine, he did see some ice near the bubble up though.

hiked the Y yesterday and from the view it looked like the majority of the lake had green ice on it. Today with the wind from the north it cleared the whole northern part of the lake!! don't know much about Provo area but linden and Orem are clear now

I fished Lindon on Sunday (3/17) AM and saw no ice at all, anywhere.

What is the launch fee at Lindon?

I didn't look closely at the ramp itself, but there was no ice inside the harbor at all that I saw.

Thank you TD. I might have to launch on that side of the lake to give it a try. I would love to test the combination of your location write ups and your wobble jigs. I'm hopeful I can get some results, even if I am a member of the 90% that catch 10%.

[#0000FF][cool] All parts of the lake are going to be in "transition" for a while. As the ice comes off there will be increased oxygen and temps will come up a bit. Water clarity will vary with wind speed and direction. In other words, every trip will require some searching to find fish...and active fish...and to figure out a pattern.

But, the walleyes are driven by the calendar and by the rising water temps. They WILL spawn so they will show up at a few places to get the job done. Real diehards will be out there in the middle of storms...in the middle of the night. And they will catch more fish than we who wait for nicer conditions.

I prefer to conduct my own R&D on the waters, rather than waiting for two week old reports that tell me I shoulda been there last week.

hit the north side of the lake and did great. stoped after work at about 4pm and launched my toon from the outlet where the park is.... caught 100+ white bass and two catfish..... lots of little ones and the cats were no bigger than 8in. no ice i could see and there were a few boats crusing up and down the lake around me so i am willing to bet that the lake is 90%-100% ice free... hope anyone who gets out there has a fun time and gets a few or more......
