For those that do carry in the classroom, specific, tailored training should be required and completed successfully before the classroom carry is allowed by that individual. A psychological evaluation should be part of that required training. Refresher training and evaluation should be an annual requirement as well.[/#800000][/font]

[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800000]If (and this is a very big if) classroom carry were instituted and a teacher who carries somehow becomes unstable and started a killing spree, then it is also very likely that there would be other teachers present that are also carrying who could limit the damage or even possibly prevent it from happening.[/#800000][/font]

[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800000]If the cost ever enters into your picture, then it can be assumed that you don’t have any children. My children’s lives are worth way more than whatever it would cost to implement such a protection program. I don’t believe it is possible to assign a dollar amount to the value of a child’s life. I would pay whatever it cost and be glad to do so to protect my children. But that’s just me.[/#800000][/font]
