Looking at getting a Cheeky reel, the 375 Ambush for my streamer rod. Has anyone had any experience with these. Looking to get some feedback. Thanks in advance!

I am curious as to why you want that particular reel. It is sexy, but as far as reels made overseas, there is Hardy.
Now for a USA reel, the Nautilus!!!! That is a sweet reel

With that ugly green I'd only use the 375 Ambush on St. Patrick's day [laugh]. Of course with a screen name of GreenHorn maybe you could pull it of in the ever increasing fashion show called fly fishing.

HAHA I would prefer to get a dif color but thats not a option. I have read lots of reviews most were good and I just wanted some local knowledge.

Green is very classy. Here is straight from Pete Crommett:
"We designed and developed our reels here in the US, but have an overseas partner that manufacturers them for us. He took our design and ran with it, we couldn't have asked for a better product."

I asked if they would be at any of the shows and he said no, so unless you know who sells them it is a sight unseen deal, but as you stated, good reviews for the most part.

Obvious color is a personal preference. Matched with a bright orange line would be a nice halloween theme for fall streamer fishing. Actually that color combo might work well enough not to have to switch your line with every season.
Greenhorn let us know how it performs if you end up getting it.

Aw there is the problem. No orange line. Shark is green or gray [cool]
