I usually use a Triple Surgeons knot for connecting tippet to leader or for tags. It works great for connecting two different materials or even different sizes, but today I tried the "SEAGUAR KNOT". Nice thing about it is how easy it is and Seaguar Fluorocarbon came up with it.

I fish a lot of still water with florocarbon tippet, I will have to try it, thanks.

Thanks for posting this. I just tried it and that's pretty cool. Besides fly fishing applications, this knot would work great for adding flouro leader to deep jigging rigs as well.

Some guy at The Strawberry Anglers Assoc. Booth at the ISE show showed me that knot five years ago. Been using it ever since and it is a good knot.

Besides line-to-line, he has another video that shows how to use the same knot to tie a dropper loop. I love it when the same knot has multiple uses, which is why I like the uni knot so much.
