I have recently started fishing for striped bass in Norris Lake. We found a hotspot for them around our houseboat, but when we hook up with a big one it pulls our line under the houseboat and against cables and breaks us off. The reel I have been using is a Abu Garcia 6500 and a Catmaxx rod with 25lb test. So this coming week I was going to tighten up the drag all the way and horse them in. My question is what line do I use. Braid or mono and what test. Thanks for replies
