Anyone besides me using Hot Maps? I have it for my H-Birds and the PC app it is very nice. I like to be able to look over a lake and it's structure before I go fish there.

I have the Android Navionics app for my smartphone. It's the bomb. Cheap too.

I was kind of hoping for Blackfoot and Am Falls. Looks like most of it is west side and middle.

No Brownlee or American falls nor Blackfoot. That sucks for sure hope they get those added soon, I was bummed when I found out Brownlee was not covered, I fish there allot.

I have used the Garmin inland lakes for my gps for a few years now. It shows contours for many smaller lakes too. Definately worth the price. Not as "detailed" as others out there which show hotspots and submerged things and such. Looks like Garmin has updated their water maps so probably some other good things from them.
I can not remember the other maps and things I have gotten in the past (maybe magellen is one) but I would end up returning them and always kept going back to this one.

I am interested in seeing how good of a coverage Idaho lakes get from Garmin. Any of the smaller reservoirs covered?

For now I mostly just use my own maps.

You know what? I thought so but not like I thought. Blackfoot shows, Pettit, Yellowbelly, Alturas shows but Chesterfield and the smaller ones near Preston don't like I thought. I got to dig my stuff up and see what I got..
I am certain (well, pretty certain now) I had contours for Montpelier, Alexander, and Onieda on my handheld but they aren't showing up on the computer. I will try and remember to dig it out this weekend and see what I got.

I don't get cell service at CJ when I fish it for sturgeon. Do you get cell service up the canyon?

No I dont get cell service at cj either. I have to study the map before I get to the lake..

I have T-Mobile and a friend of mine has Sprint. Neither one of us gets coverage at the reservoir. I believe the only carrier with any kind of coverage down there is Verizon.

The Navionics app downloads maps to your device, so you can still use it even if you don't have service. When I first installed it, it required a license check upon opening the app so I had to open it before I lost service. However, they fixed the problem a couple of revisions back.

I downloaded the app last year (galaxy 3) and I also don't get cell service but I do get the map and I can also see myself move around the lake at least in the narrows. GPS ? I'm pretty sure I remember that right.

The PC app is awesome, It let's you check out the lake and the depth (If the lake is covered). I use it on my H-Bird 597 so I always can see the lake and where I am on the water.
