Started out @ 8 AM with junior group. emoThumbsup Nice overcast & mild temps with a not so nice northwest wind. Went to Sail Creek area , emoPlease , fished several diff places with guys throwing anything & everything.

No one catching, not evenany Crappie being put in boats. Not a very good trip. Moved back to Grasshopper Creek. emoDoh Chunking & winding with no results. Sun starts popping out, near 1PM and Junior time was up @ 1 o'clock. Went to weigh in & hardly anyone had caught. There may have been 3 or 4 fish brought in from I believe 14 Junior Anglers. Everyone enjoyed the outing, emoSorry the emoFish just were not co operating. Better luck next time.

After I dropped my co anglers off & checked in I decided to stay out a while in the Grasshopper area. I moved around toward the back area & bout 1:45 I was surprised with nice 3 1/2 lbr. Keep chunking around in 2 to 6 fow & thump, there is one near 6 lb emoDance emoDance in the boat. More chunking & thump. how bout 1 near the 8 lb mark. Wow, sun out , bait moving & they are turning on. In the next 1 1/2 hour, I have caught 10 r 11 & culled out to a bag hitting the 25 lb marker.

Wish the Jr. guys were still fishing, they woulda had a ball as did myself. Best couple hours I have had in a long time. All were caught in a 100 yard stretch in 3 to 6 fow. Water temp 51 & somewhat stained with light northwest breeze. Chunking & winding............. emoGeezer emoUSA
