Went out to kaysville ponds yeserday and got skunked
people say fishing is good once it gets dark.

HONESTLY don't go up this early in the season
It is fun when you are with another 11 year old

I used to fish those ponds there all of the time especially the 2nd to the rlast one on the north side. My brother and I fished with a spinnig rod clear bubble and flies. Our best flies were renegades and grizzle hackle peacocks with a little red in the tail or the hackle on the front of the fly. We did the best for bluegill but also caught quite a few rainbows and a few largemouth. Ya ive been getting skunked on the ponds over by my place. The Jordan river is better fishing then the community ponds lately. It's always fun searching new spots on the Jordan river because you never know when you find an amazing sucker hole like I did today. Literally I saw about 15+ suckers in one area but they didn't like me fly rod gear today ly.

I've never fished the Jordan River, what kind of fish do you usually catch there? And what do you catch them on?
