I had some fish I wanted to share with you all. This past weekend treated me very well. I won't include the full report because it's massive, but you can check it out at my new blog (http://troutings.blogspot.com)
Here's some of the highlight pics for fun
Thursday Pa-Co-Chu-Puk
Rainbows all had blisters, but fought well.
Pretty beefy brown got me all excited. Slipped away before I could get better pictures.
Plenty of these guys though
Friday Pa-Co-Chu-Puk
Came back hoping for some more beefy browns. I wasn't disappointed! One of my biggest browns to date.
Soon I found another rare treat on this river.
Gorgeous fish
Here's an cool find for you all.
That's my gulp minnow in the top of its mouth and a sucker hanging out the bottom. I think the sucker was lodged in its throat
Cool area. I used gulps and marabou jigs all day long.
Saturday Lower Gunnison
Walked forever and a day for a couple dink browns like this one.
Gorgeous scenery though. A desert oasis.
I fished all week with gulp minnows and marabou. The bigger fish usually came on marabou jigs. Black, brown, and olive were my colors. Fish were deep and the water was low
I know this is a long report, but I promise it's the condensed version. Again please see the new blog for even more pictures. I'd love to connect with you fellow bloggers out there.
Life is short, live it well.
