That thing is a hookie beastie...amazing for sure nice on the C&R also...that place has some big'ns for sure...lost a beastie bow several years ago. Managed a couple of browns but nothing near that one...again congrats to you.[

I'd be surprised if he had kept it. I think he has a lot of respect for those big browns,... no reason to kill them really. I can't imagine they taste very good (but I think that about all trout really so)
Also I don't think he was out looking for a meal. Something tells me he was after bigger fish for catch and release purposes.

I know he can catch big fish, but that is a trophy for sure. Just not a good way of holding a fish that big (or any trout) if you are releasing that is all. No waves.
