Just curious as to what the current walleye situation is at Yuba. I used to chase them a lot back in the glory days when it was so hot there, just before "the crash". It has been several years... are they making a comeback yet? I know they were highly dependent on the perch population.

The perch population crashed about 4 or 5 years ago. Walleye fishing is a tough go a Yuba. We can all fondly remember the walleye days at Yuba and hope they return someday. Someday isnt now!!! You may catch one but believe me it will be a long, long time between fish

The last good year I had for the walleye there was the spring of 2002, we use to leave our 5th wheel down there from March thru July, good times and lots of fond memories.
