Here we use stealth mode..nice carp average size for FL 15lb,on 2lb test fire line,fused line "not braided"
on a #16 white river curved long shank hook..
I weigh the carp by the lip,I do this all the time don't worry wont kill them,biggest I weighed by the mouth wuz 28 3/4lb.. edit: sorry I forgot to get a close up on the hook,this is the smallest size ,I have the # 14 also,anything smaller is just crazy!!
