I'm sure many of you are just as annoyed as I am. I was in hopes someone here could point me in the right direction. I live in Lindon and for years it was really easy to get to Utah Lake and fish different areas. Seems now everything is "off limits" I can't fish the waste ditch anymore, the Marina charges $5 to go in there and get skunked and everywhere else nearby seems to be overgrown with vegetation. Without giving away your secret spots can somebody point me in the right direction?

dikes near the provo airport you can access for free.
lincoln beach and alot of the area between there and goshen bay are accessable for free although its a ways from lindon.

They have cleaned out the phrag on the south end of the cooling ponds where the bubble up heads out into the lake and if memory serves they don't charge for that spot either.

It is actually cleared all the way from the marina to past lincoln beach. just be carefull, there are still some of the phragmites left underwater which is good cover but bad for snags. I have caught some whites and a bunch of catfish along that dike (i think they call it the cooling ponds). They should not charge you to fish there.

This is true, I fished off shore by the bubble up the other day and had snag after snag. it was a little rough but I stuck it out with no luck.[:/]
Maybe next time!
