Not many reports from the Magic Res. area lately. How's the fishin been?

We went there on Saturday. We only caught 4 fish, although we had a few more strikes. A couple of guys there were catching more. One of them was stripping and the other just trolling in his pontoon. Black, Peacock, Halloween buggers were what was getting fish. The wind came up around noon and made it difficult to stay out on the lake. At least the water was clearer than Little Camas was a few days before, but at least the fish were more cooperative at Little Camas. The water at Little Camas was so muddy that you could only see a foot into the water

we were there sat also fishing was ok we caught 15 including one brown but they were all small. used green wooly buggers and red dot frog thomas buoyants. The wind sucked and we were headed home by 1. only place we found fish was the west shore down stream from west magic

New here, have enjoyed lurking over the past few weeks. I fished Magic from the shore, actually the dam about a week ago in the evening. Besides freezing we only caught one small trout on P-Bait. I have not fished it much and plan on hitting it again next Sat. Will either fish from the bank or a canoe, depends on the wind and how lazy I feel.
