I looked through archived posts, but they look a little old. I am considering a new tube or toon and I need some insight from the board on suggestions. I have a boat and a sweet canoe, but both a just a pain by myself. I want to pick up something easy to handle on my own to get out more when no one else can play. Here is my stats:
1. I'm 6'1+ and 245lbs
2. One knee bad, the other worse so fish close to launch or motorize (if recommended)
3. I want something I can launch on my own and fairly easy and can fit in my Toyota Tacoma bed.
4. I'm a school teacher, so $$$ matters. I'm looking for best value, but I'm willing to pay more if it is easier and better...

Please let me know your thoughts or if there is a better spot on the board for me to get info.

Thanks in advance!

I would go with a toon. You sit higher out of the water, motorized it can go places. If you want something smaller try an outcast fat cat (not fish cat 4), this tube will hold your weight and can be motorized. Just as TD. I motorized a fish cat 4 for my wife but she is a lot smaller than I am. I use a toon that I got cheap.
