So I seem to be on this kick of going to places ive never been before this year. Which is fine by me[Wink]. Anyway my wife said she was down to go on my next one on Monday 5/6 if the weather permist that is. I want crappie or perch for a fry and heard Salmon Falls was pretty good. Any help would be greatly appriciated. I'm coming from Burley area and was hoping one of you fine Gents could give me a tip or two[:p] it would be greatly appriciated.

Go to CJ if you want perch and crappie! Salmon is a little slow and about a week or ten days from being decent fishing!

I would agree. Salmon Falls is a long body of water, about 10 miles from end to end. My folks live in Twin and they like to go fishing so we head over there a couple of times each month during the summer. I grew up in ND so walleye is one of my favorite kinds of fish to go after. I've caught a lot of perch at Salmon but I've never had much luck for consistent crappie. We find a few here and there throughout the summer. I was at CJ last weekend and we killed the perch. Threw back far more than we kept. I didn't find any crappie but I did talk to a few guys that did. If you are looking for any info on Salmon later in the summer or if you decide to try it anyway this next week shoot me a message and I'd be happy to share any thing I can with you. I'm no expert down there but I can at least give you a good orientation to the lake.
