Did Damon's tournament this morning. Ran to our first spot and starting catching bass right off. We had four in the well before 7:30am and thought it was gonna get better but it never did for us. Seems like once the sun came up the bite left, we got our limit but never was able to cull anything larger. Don't remember exactly what our best one was but it was over 5lb. Our fish were caught in less than 1ft to up around 12ft. We never fished any deeper than that and mostly hit docks and points at different spots on the lake. All caught with swimming a jig, crankbaits, texas rigged lizards and spinnerbaits. Tried different lures but those were the ones that caught our fish. Water temps went from 68 to 63 degrees. Saw a few bass roaming the banks but nothing huge like few weeks ago. Water was still kinda dirty and only right next to the banks was clear enough to see anything. Was good to see people and grats to the winners and thanks to Damon and Teddy and who ever that other guy was helping with the fish...
