I went to my close to home reservoir to see if the LMB were coming alive yet. Turns out they are fully ready to be caught on just about anything you throw at them. My 2nd cast i was reeling in and about three feet from the shore WHAM!! first fish on. It was about a 2 pounder not bad for the small unpopulated reservoir. The next fish i caught was the largest, weighing in at 3 pounds and 12 ounces. The extra 12 ounces probably came from the snack in the fishes mouth ( 3rd picture) There was a small fish in its mouth, i do believe it was a small mud cat. I tried to pull it out, but the bass would not let me have it, it just swallowed it even more. It was a pretty cool thing to see. The 3rd bass was the smallest maybe a pound, i didn't weigh it. The last one i would imagine it was about 2.5 pounds. Really good day of fishing. The first three fish i caught were on a chartreuse spinnerbait. The other two were on crank baits, fire tiger and a shad pattern. Gonna head back there in about another hour. Will report back hoping for another good fishing trip.

Dude, you better scribble out the background of all of those pictures -- people can tell that it's Strawberry.
