Took a buddy out last night and we had a blast. I had been there on Sunday and caught some really nice largemouth so we started in that same spot. Only managed to find a couple there so we headed over to the other side of the lake. Weed growth was just getting started over on that side but first cast I hit a nice one then we started finding a few smaller fish. Around 7:30 things went nuts and in the span of about an hour we caught over 30 largemouth. It was awesome. I had a streak of 7 casts in a row with a fish each cast. I've never had that happen except maybe crappie fishing. My buddy had only gone largemouth fishing one other time so I've completely ruined him. I'm sure he's going to expect it to be like this every time now. We were catching most fish in about 6-8 feet of water about 75 yards out from shore and the northwest side.
