After all the years that I've been missing to fish different parts of jordan river or any part of the jordan river. Today I had to adventure around some new grounds that I always check up on google maps. Today was the day. Got a good clue where to go. Packed up some white bass meat and worms. Not fly fishing for catfish yet. Maybe soon with one of my teachers that know how to catch them on a fly rod [angelic]

Got to the spot and the first sounds I head was splash Splash Splash. First I though they would be Carp but I got proven wrong. No carp in sight. Tossed some worms out and bam the first dinker mudder in matter of seconds.

After many tempts too hook up a big kitty and one good snap. I finally manage a good kitty.

And the 3rd member come aboard.

Then the stupid Mudder came back again for some more worm ha ha ha.

While calling TDT I end up catching the biggest fellow of the day.

Looked like Coyote send me a purple lip kitty to give me a great deep message but I enjoyed him fishing next to me.

Well these guys became some good dinner for tomorrow. Let's see what good stuff my dad with make tomorrow with some fillet kitty that I haven't had in years.

Fished for about 2-3 hrs and caught 2 mudders and 4 tasty kitties. I had a few huge one snap the line next to me or just did a small show and ran away. With all said and done it was a great small trip out of the house.

Well played young man. Sounds like a good outing. I don't know but I think your leach, crawdad patterns might work on the cats. But you might have to pee on 'em first (just don't tell TDT[])
You may be too young to know Deep Purple, yeah - or Old Black Water . . .


so - curious - how does your dad prep em? He a fry boy? Also curious if you do a taste test of the boys vs the girls. I know TD has attested that he thinks the girls are better on the . I would say they have better hips for filleting, some of them boy-cats are all skinny bones, and big heads.

Hoping to hit some of my pockets and holes this weekend. Still after that 30"+.

Ya I will have to try it out to catch one on a fly rod. Ha ha ha I will pee in water and run the crawdad around it and just say I though the pee went down the river by the time.

Ya I know ha ha ha but this purple was just right...

My dad didn't pan fry it how I liked it so it was alright taste. Next time I'm making them my way. [] As well all of the meat was nice thick chunk.
