<br /> Got out today after work to chase some crappie. Put in at 5 and took out at 7:30. Fish docks with 1/32 lead with various baits. Anything with chartuse worked good today. The docks are still LOADED with fish. Today I stopped fishing on crappie number 50 and had 16 keepers (also got 4 bluegill). I probably lost another 10 fish with most of them being keepers. I got some new hooks from BassPro and they suck. Found out that if I bent the hook out some they worked OK but took me 10 fish to figure it out. <br /> Brought 15 home and cooked up 2 for dinner. Good stuff. The rest are going to mom. Water temp was 69 or so today and the lake was full of pleasure boaters. The waves made fishing the docks tough but the crappie were super aggressive and did not care much about the presentation. <br /> Hitting the Riverpark tomorrow with Polo. <br /> I took a pic of one of the docks I caught crappie off of.
