I had a meeting after work and finally got to head home, so I called my dad to see where my kids were. He and my son were out on the boat so i asked if I could sneak in an hour or 2 fishing with them before we went home. we caught 15 or 16 fish. Tyan wanted to see what our best 5 would be so we keep these few to weigh. Our best 5 was right at the 20lb mark. The 2 bigger ones were right at 6 a piece and the other two were in the 3-4 range. All the fish were caught on shakey heads in about 2-4 ft of water in the back of a pocket. One of the big ones I caught while throwing a rattle trap off the back of the boat. I was just having so much fun watching my son and my dad catch fish that I didn't want to get in the way. I get caught up in watching those two fish together, they are best friends and I'm so lucky to have a guy like my dad in my sons life.
