Took my brother, son and nephew out to Utah Lake on Saturday. We arrived around 1:00 p.m. Went on the north end of the lake a couple miles west of American fork boat harbor, we fished till 6:00 and came home with eleven nice channels. We released quite a few bullheads and had a great time. They did not seem to care too much about what bait we used. We used night crawlers and chub mostly, my son found an old bottle of emerald shiners in my tackle box and even caught some on them. That bottle is at least eight years old but they did not seem to mind. The weather was a bit of a surprise as we had to wait it out that morning till we had a break in the weather. Just a few sprinkles was all. The clouds just passed over us all day mostly. Had a great trip. We did not catch one white bass though. Next month it should really turn on the females have eggs and should spawn soon. Load up the kids and get out there they will have fun!!! Have a great week everyone. Sincerely John R.
