Fishing Forum

Well, Brent & I had our kind of day yesterday, it was junk fishing time! we caught fish on rocks, wood, grass. Main lake, creeks, pockets. Caught fish on every kind of plastic we had. Never had a fish on a moving bait. Most consistent depth was 8-10'. The thing that jumped us up was that we had 2 kickers, a 7.12 & a 7.0. Can't remember when we've had that in a tourney! Finished with 23.98# & 2nd place, our highest finish in CBA we've had. I lost a 4+ pound fish early right after catching that 7.12 that I didn't think would hurt, but it came back to haunt us. That would have culled a 2.82 & won it for us! emoEnforce I've got to quit doin that ! emoBang <br />Congrats to Nick & Chris on the win & Jmax & Derek for a great finish! Had a fun day with my son & that's what it's all about! Well, finishing in the money is pretty cool too, LOL! It's a real blessing to get to fish this with Brent & fish with my family & thank God for that!
