Not sure how you're gonna fish it but if you're using a spinning rod....try some watermelon / motor oil colored tubes tossed into the bank and bounce the bottom back to your kayak. Caught some nice cutts that way last fall and also through the ice this winter. Flavor with a dash of crawdad smelly jelly.
