We got out for a couple hours Saturday evening and then again a few hours Sunday afternoon. Couldn't buy a Walleye in my usual spots. We did catch a few smallies but didn't find anything bigger than about 14" or so. The weather was great aside from it being a little breezy Sunday afternoon by the time we left but all in all had a great time.

How did you do 2dogs?

Had boat motor problem Saturday so I had to put it back on the trailer and take it home but did get out on Sunday morning. Got into a bunch of walleyes biggest I got was about 22" around 3 lbs. or so, lots of smaller ones. No big ones but they're coming. Within the next couple weeks I think the strong bite will be on. Caught some bass and trout too but no perch.

That's a bummer with the motor problem, at least you got it fixed and got out anyhow. Sounds like you did a little better than us and had a decent day.

Sorry to hear about the motor. I am going to try again for this saturday. Black folrd truck and camper shell, older ranger bass boat. Say hello if you see me.

Yep, The Classic is this weekend they'll probably have 30 boats. Had a buddy there yesterday and he caught trout, perch, crappie, bass and walleye. Everything is up shallow, water temp is 61. The walleye club is having a card cut for a $500 shopping spree at Dry Creek Outfitters $20 a card to play, get em at the weigh ins at the dam.

Fished on tournament weekend before and it really wasn't that bad. Not near as bad as it was on Memorial weekend

But the lake is a lot smaller now due to the lack of water. Ron

Tournament weekend just means I will finally get to see what a walleye looks like. I will just need to take binoculars to see it in another boat. Smile

Low water- i am getting the vision of a lake havasu spring break party with all the boats tied together. Not like there are other boats on the water when i am fishing any other weekend. Thanks for the heads up about the tournament. hopefully they know I am no threat to thier fishing success.
