That is a real bummer. Hard to look forward all year for the salmon and end up with a minute and a half for a season.

Total bummer.......... Got into em last weekend but its a heck of a drive from salmon to riggins. A little birdie told me FG is proposing opening the SFS river July 3rd. I'm sure that will be short and sweet. The little birdie also told me theres no chance of a season below pahsimeroi and Sawtooth is looking grim too!

Oregon and Washington extended their Columbia River seasons, and we get cut short. Anyone else see the inequity here? We really need to sue these states and get minimum passage at Bonneville before they open the Columbia...

Well it's over. Pretty much every thing is closed. We were going to head down to the little salmon Tuesday. Looks like ill be heading to dorwshak for smallies instead. I can't really say I'm surprised. Though it doesn't make the disapoinment any easier.

It was fun while it lasted. Made the trip over for the 2 weekends of fishing. The fishing was pretty tough but we did ok. Always a good time and already looking forward to next year. Now I have a freezer full of delicious fillets to get me by until next May.
