I look for pontoons for other people all the time. Guys tell me to let them know and most of the time I do. Well This this I had to keep one. I bought a Sportsmans 9 for 50.00 bucks. I couldn't pass it up. I had one last year and sold it to a young guy just starting for 200.00. It was a good deal for him and I was wanting to go bigger. Now I am back with another one. This will be my loaner boat, and the boat I use to go into one sturgeon hole. One spot I go was not possible for me to get to earlier this year because the water was too shallow. This one will get there from another access point.
I could not pass up a 50 dollar boat. Ron

Nice deal RON!!! Man I don't come across killer deals like that very often but when I do....The best part is when you find deals like that not even the WIFE can get mad at you lol.

I sewed a couple new D ring straps on today. I hope that is all the sewing I have to do. Next I need to drill and mount a battery box, install the Oar rights, work on the tackle bags, and install my start stop button.. I need some sturgeon ready rod holders too so I am going to have to do some thinking on that. Ron

Being able to get into that hole when the river is almost dry would be nice. No one could launch for a couple months because the water was so low that you had to drag the boat for about 100 yards over mud. Not to mention the rapids had all the rocks sticking out. Having options is real nice.
I finished up with the last of the mods today and made up some new straps to strap the pontoons on to the frame. The straps on the side bags were cut. I will need to replace the straps and I think I am ready to try it out.
