A friend and I went to Little Camas yesterday. There isn't much water left. We were in float tubes, and there was very little area where I couldn't touch bottom with my fins.

The water is very muddy - visibility is less than 3 inches.

I used spinners, then just drifted around dragging worm.s In about 2 hours, I had only one solid strike, which broke my line. My friend caught a little bass on a fly.

I saw one group of guys on the bank that seemed to have it figured out, they caught at least 6 while we were there.

Oh man that's Sad to see!

Unfortunately, I expect we're going to see many more places looking like that this summer too. [Image: sad.gif]

My wife and I went yesterday, the 6th. There is still some water, I first tried wading but that is some mucky, slick, nasty, mud. Hard to find anywhere with any depth like you said, but we did manage to catch a few tiny bass.

I'm tempted to go back and try for crawdads but they may be picked clean by the bass by now, and it will have to be pretty much gone before you can use a net to scoop any fish out. there was an Osprey out on the water, caught at least one while we were there, and missed a few.

Is there any fishing in the area below the dam?
