Fishing Forum

I'm taking my non-fishing wife to Henrys Lake, hopefully to catch some fish and get her hooked on fishing.
So, do any of you HL experts have any recommendations of what fishing techniques work there? What do you use & where do you go?
Remember the old saying... when Momma ain't happy nobody's happy? I'm hoping she catches some fish at HL so I can keep on fishing.

Because of ice coming off early there is extra growth of weed. It has stymied a lot of ones that like to troll. If trying to troll switch to single hooks, less weed caught, more opportunities for fish to hit. I like the deep hole out in middle, runs north south, from cliffs to big fancy log cabin on north end.
