Hitting FG for the first time ever, anyone got any ideas on how the smallies are doing? launching out of Lucerne, any cuts or bays better than the others.

oh hit Willard tonight for 40 min before the 5footers rolled in. got three wipers and done. went from almost glass to way bad in a blink.
Video well we just got back running on two cyl buzzer going off like crazy so we may have been doing 15-20 tops just enough to keep front end up. just a tad scary. I am sure other have been out in it rougher but that was enough for me with a bad engine. found rectifier hanging burnt after back at home.

When I was verry new to boats and willard we were out on a little 12' aluminum and 15 hp in the SW corner when the wind picked up out of the north. I am honestly amazed how quickly it can get bad out there. I didnt think we were going to make it back. Stayed within swimming distance from the shore and prayed for the best. 45 min later i was never more excited to see the mouth of the south marina,water was ankle deep in the boat. Learned my lesson on that one scariest fishing moment of my life. Never again.

Well, I figured flaming gorge out. Took me one hr to figure it out and then caught seven and called it quit. Hope the tournament goes well. Biggest was 15.5"

We were out in the Willard wind storm as well, picked up 2 walleyes in the 45 minutes we got to fish. glad you figured out the Gorge small mouths, was curious about the reason for the face wrap at the Gorge? something i could understand at Willard . lol
