I would like to catch some suckers for sturgeon bait. Please let me know a few places that I could try. Feel free to PM me.

It's been a while, (my youth) but find a deep hole preferably with a mud bottom and cast a worm out and put it on the bottom. The suckers usually slowly pull out the line so watch it closely. You also never know what else you may catch. Suckers can be caught up and down the river. Back in the day, I fished 9000th south area, but I think much of that is posted now.

Kent,just down the road from my house there's an area where I go occasionally. I dont go so much anymore. But nearly every time I go I catch anywhere from 1 to half a dozen. It's the open area on the west side of the river right on 4800 south. I have a few other fav's, some of which are more productive both north and south of there on either side of the river. Should you choose to venture near here let me know and i will meet ya down there even if it's for a quick chat.

Hi everyone,
I made this thread back in 2013. I tried once to catch some suckers, on The Mighty Jordan River, but was not successful. I would like to catch some, in the next couple weeks, for bait. If anyone can point me in the right direction (PMs are great) I would be grateful.
