[#800000]I just got home today after spending 5 days camping at Hyrum with my daughters and their families for Father’s Day weekend. I fished for 4 days and saw over 100 trout brought to the boat by 6 different people. We kept 5 limits and let the rest go.[/#800000]

[#800000]The hottest baits were a #5 Perch Rapala, a #5 Brown Trout Rapala, and a pink/white squid & half a crawler behind a gold/silver RMT dodger. The preferred depth was 25 feet but the 2 Rapalas were doing yeoman’s service on the surface as well.[/#800000]

While we marked several very large schools of kokanee, we couldn’t entice any of them to take our offerings. So while it was nice to have the place to ourselves for a couple of hours, we came away fishless.[/#800000]

[#800000]Most of the trout we caught were from the new bunch of planters just released there a couple of weeks ago. The biggest one caught for the whole trip was by my granddaughter who boated a respectable 15 incher. None of our fish had a tag - darn it.[/#800000]
