Got out with some family and friends Wednesday morning. Wanted to make a trip before it gets really hot this weekend. After the storm blew through the water temp has cooled off a bit since I was out last. Surface temp was reading 67° when we took off at 8 o'clock, it got up to 71° by the time we quit at 1 o'clock.

The action was a little on the slow side, but steady throughout the day. They responded best to a slow presentation. I talked to two other boats that had about about the same luck. PM for info. My biggest was 3.9 with a few others within half a pound. About half were within that pound and a half to two pound range.

Lots of Smiles, good company, healthy fish and very little wind made for a really fun day.

Pic is my big one for the day.

Great looking fish! I was out there today in a black/silver Procraft. It was my first trip to Lowell. We had a great time with approx 50 fish. Biggest was 2.5lbs.

Like you slow seemed best. Caught most of ours on a senko but the morning frog bite was hot too.

Nice going Josh. You told me that you weren't a bass fisherman - lol. We still need to get together one of these days at LP. I'll message you.

That is a great bass. Nice!

It does look like somewhere down south with all those lily pads in the background. [Tongue]

Nice fish! I was starting to wonder if any of the southwest guys fished anymore.

Nice fish! Glad they are still biting. I did OK out there last Sarturday. This 100+ weather will probably slow them down even more.
