Been going up to kaysville ponds lately, every time i go there i catch two mud cats, then a whole bunch of white bass. I know white bass aren't supposed to be in there, so they must have been illegally transplanted.

That's crazy, I've never seen a white bass in there. Are you catching them in the main pond by the parking lot?

They are probably little Wipers that were planted in there

Yup. Here's a partial extract from the DWR's fishing report for this week under the Kaysville Ponds heading:

"A new sport fish has been introduced here. We recently stocked six-inch wipers in the Kaysville ponds. These fish are providing great fishing with a worm about two feet below a bobber. This is the perfect opportunity for kids. Use a small piece of worm and set the hook quickly so the fish can easily be released and continue to grow."
