Hey guys,
I'm taking my family beach camping next week at New Brighton Beach, just south of Santa Cruz.
I would love to fish in the surf or off some of the nearby piers, but don't have any experience with that type of fishing.
Have any of you had the chance to fish at New Brighton Beach or a similar beach? Is fishing in the surf, or from a pier even worth it? Do you have any advice for this type of ocean fishing?
