Lily Lake? I caught one from my float tube a couple of years ago on an elk hair caddis. Don't know what it's called but I'm guessing its some sort of baitfish.

For me I caught them in a creek up in the Uintas. I end up catching about 5-10 just with the orange scud pattern. I wonder if their good bait to catch some big fish. At the chevron gas station they were selling minnows so I'm curious if you can use bait fish up their as well if any mostest tigers would munch on them.

I believe it is a Speckled Dace. A very common minnow/baitfish.

mop head is right. It's a shiner and yes, they're great for bait.
Take them to your big tiger spot up there and you'll be pleased.
Laroo, a speckled dace is a bit different looking and I've trapped those as well. They're in the Brighton lakes, along with shiners and suckers.
